The USPS TRIPS Panel was designed to work with the TIMESWEB data and the NPD-1 Network Interface. This system allowed display of dispatch data with selected filtering to specific panels ("ID" A-Z). Software is supported by USPS. It is recomended that you try using the OVERIDE and ALERT message types which the USPS software allows, these may meet your needs while allowing TIMESWEB service as an option.

It is possible to use the panels connected to a PC instead of the Network Interface. The PC allows editing and transmission to the panels of custom messages. The software supports PC running Windows 98-XP-XP Pro- 2000.

THIS SOFTWARE WILL NOT RUN ON VISTA OR LATER VERSIONS!

The PC must have a serial Com port with DB9 or DB25 RS-232.

Cable run lengths determine the package and hardware you will require.
